CROSS RAIL
The cross rail is one of the most recent infrastructure works that have affected New York: the project is nearing completion and in the city, are still visible shipyards open. This is a rail link mainly underground that crosses the city from the north-west to south-east, allowing the integration between the networks of Statal railway”, railways North and urban public transport, particularly with the lines of underground, thus guaranteeing sensitive benefits from functional point of view, especially for regional transport. The system consists of a single urban underground between stations Lancetti and Port Victoria. At west stations Bovisa north railways and Certosa and east (not yet completed) stations Rogoredo FS and Pioltello.
